Rachel McClintock:Owner

Rachel has been doing hair since 1993. She loves that doing hair is an incredibly rewarding profession and it is a great social and artistic outlet. She was the manager of a salon for 4 years and felt it was the next step to own her own place. She opened Luna in September of 2009 and has loved creating a positive, team-oriented atmosphere. She also loves teaching and unifying people and owning her own salon and spa allows her to do just that. She owns Luna with her husband Anthony. Read the story of how Luna came to be.

 

Katherine Gannon:

Katherine was interested in hair even as a little girl. Katherine pursued her passion and graduated from International Salon and Spa Academy.  Katherine mentored under Rachel

and has become specialized in doing all types of hair. Katherine enjoys doing the latest hair coloring techniques, men haircuts and the Sun Pure Keratin Treatments.She really loves working in the positive atmosphere at Luna.


Kelsey Garofalo: Assistant Manager

Kelsey has loved doing hair for as long as she can remember. Discovering at a young age, her passion for fashion and style, she realized that doing hair would give this passion life. She prides herself on her work and enjoys doing everything from a simple bang trim to a unique, funky color, Kelsey feels her personality, technique, and professionalism will keep you here at Luna Hair Studio and Spa.


Julie Chacon-Petrides:

Julie has enjoyed doing hair for over 15 years in many different states and Cyprus. Julie feels Luna Hair Studio & Spa is the perfect place to share her skill in the latest hair techniques and facials/waxing. Julie loves making a difference in a client's day by making them feel special. In her spare time, Julie loves spending with her family and friends hosting Greek and Tamale parties!

Yukie Stauffer:
Yukie was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. She made her way to the United States through a cultural exchange program when she was in high school. Although she enjoyed the healthy, vibrant lifestyle of California, she didn't want to forget her organic Japanese upbringing. Further travel on life's path brought Yukie the love of a blue-eyed California boy and soon three wonderful sons. She now incorporates the ancient Japanese respect for the human body and the healthy lifestyles of California and Colorado into her work as an aesthetic professional.

 

Massage Therapist:


Rhonda Smith:
Rhonda has heart to help people reach a state of physical wellness that keeps them active

and enjoying life.  She trained in California and offers 13 years of experience.  Rhonda

specializes in deep tissue, trigger point therapy and prenatal massage. Rhonda offers

custom massage therapy to fit your needs as well as chair massage.

Shelley Pilibosian:

Shelley always had an interest in the beauty industry, but after high school she decided to take a different route and work in the nursing field. For years she worked as an RN in charge of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. She also ran her own company selling Longaberger home decor. In both of these occupations, she learned the importance of taking care of clients. After retiring from nursing and taking some time to take care of her family she finally found a way to get into the beauty industry. She now oversees the front of the salon and the care of each client. She is such a people person and loves spending each day building relationships with our clients.

Dawn Nelson:

Dawn grew up watching her aunt do hair for all the family and the people in the town she grew up in. She saw the passion and joy that her aunt had and desired to experience it for herself. At a young age she started coloring and cutting her family?s hair and the desire to be part of the profession only grew. Now, she enjoys creating new looks for her clients and helping people feel great about themselves!

       

Laura Sullivan:

Laura is originally from Texas. She has been doing hair as long as she can remember. Whether it was rolling a perm for her Mamaw, pulling her mom's hair through a cap for "frosting", or cutting her sibling's hair, she has always had a passion for the trade. Although the passion always existed, Laura started doing hair professionally a little later in life. She is passionate about learning new things and loves that she can express herself creatively through doing hair. She loves not only doing hair, but also doing nails and waxing.
